Process parameters were studied for optimising the production of bismuth vanadate-molybdate, a brilliant greenish yellow pigment having the novel feature of stability at high temperature. The properties of the product obtained have been compared with those of another inorganic yellow pigment, i.e. bismuth vanadate which was also prepared and characterised in this laboratory previously.
