A composite of polycrystalline (Ba0.592Sr0.0406)TiO3 and graphene (0.04 mol) was synthesized by sonicating, ball milling and followed by sintering at 1000 degrees C. The formation of (Ba0.592Sr0.408)TiO3 in perovskite structure has been confirmed by the room temperature XRD of the prepared sample. FESEM and TEM study of the composite establishes that the presence of graphene in the composite has remarkable effect on the grain growth, densification and reduced agglomeration of (Ba0.592Sr0.0406)TiO3 compound. This may result in improved dielectric and ferroelectric properties of (Ba0.592Sr0.0406)TiO3. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
