Recovery of vanadium values from spent catalyst using a two stage leaching process' has been discussed. Leaching conditions such as pulp density, leaching time, acid concentration and sonication in both stages of leaching are investigated. The optimum conditions for vanadium precipitation as red cake from the leach solution are established. The total process is presented in the form of a flow sheet. |
