dc.description.abstract The use of High G Solid Bowl Centrifuge for dewatering of coal water slurry is studied with reference to hydraulic transportation of coal. The variables studied are effect of fines and temperature on the cake moisture and feed rate on torque and cake moisture. Solid Bowl centrifuge has got better recovery and high clarification capacity than screen bowl centrifuge and hence is better suitable.
