| dc.description.abstract |
The influence of the genetic background of a plant on the antibacterial activity of essential oils derived from it was investigated. Essential oils from six distinct strains of Cymbopogon were tested against eighteen bacteria. Interspecific and intraspecific differences were evident in the antibacterial activity of the essential oils derived from the six Cymbopogon strains. |
