| dc.description.abstract |
A multi hearth roaster facility, from Lurgi GmbH, Germany, suitable mainly for conducting oxidation roasting of ores and minerals on pilot plant scale has been put into operation. Based on operating experiences. some modifications have been incorporated to make it more flexible and suitable for reduction roasting processes. This paper briefly summarises the important features of this versatile facility including aspects related to its installation, commissioning, operation and modifications. |
