Rheological measurements of high and low viscous sodium carboxymethylcellulose solutions in aqueous medium have been made. The concentrations of these solutions are varied from 0.005 to 0.030 g/mL with a view to study the physical stability of some antibacterial drugs suspended in these polymer solutions. The effect of temperature on viscosity from 5 degrees to 40 degrees C has been studied. A model predicting viscosity at different temperatures has been established. |
