Remembering the Nation Builders

Abstract

The report documents the commemorative and academic events organized by CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar during 2024–25, highlighting celebrations of Babu Jagjivan Ram Jayanti and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, as well as the National Conference on Sustainable Science and Technology for Viksit Bharat (SSTV-2025). These events brought together scientists, academicians, industry experts, students, and social leaders to honor the legacies of great personalities, foster inclusive growth, and deliberate on sustainable technological advancements. With participation from over 400 delegates representing CSIR laboratories, IITs, NITs, universities, and industries, the conference served as a platform for collaborative research discussions, poster presentations, plenary lectures, and cultural exchange. The celebrations emphasized social justice, equality, and empowerment, while the conference reinforced the role of science, technology, and innovation in realizing the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
