dc.description.abstract Phase pure Calcium cobaltite is prepared by sol-gel method using citric acid as complexing agent. Optical properties are characterized by FTIR and UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Magnetic measurement at 5-390 shows presence of ferromagnetic to paramagnetic transition around 20 K.
