dc.description.abstract Networked control systems (NCS) are feedback systems closed through communication networks. Motivated by the fast advance of network technology and the accelerating technological convergence of communications, control and computing, research in and applications of NCS have become increasingly popular. Communication time delay, data packet dropouts occurs in NCS, when the exchange of data among sensors, actuators and controllers connected through the shared medium. This degrades the performance and may lead to instability. This article presents a concept of modeling uncertainty in a NCS due to these data packet dropouts and appropriate stability analysis to stabilize the system is also presented with different simulation environments.
