dc.description.abstract A brief comparative study on the thermal dehydration behavior of the hydrated chlorides of some 3d transition metals (Mn-Cu series) under dynamic or rising temperature condition has been carried out based on the results obtained from the recent investigations on this subject. Several interesting features correlating molecular geometry of the hydrated salts with their thermal stability have been discussed.
