dc.description.abstract The leaf oils of Curcuma caesia Roxb. and two cultivars of C. longa L. were investigated by GC. The leaf oils can be characterized by the following major constituents C. longa 'Roma': terpinolene (87.8%); C. longa 'Kasturi': myrcene (48.8%) and terpinolene (10.1%); C. caesia: 1,8-cineole (27%) and camphor (16.8%).
